I have a small group of people I communicate with on a message board. We all started on June 29th with P90x. A recent comment from made me stop and think. To summarize, like many of us, a couple missed workouts and a couple bad eating days leads one to doubt.
I can be the same way. It can be hard to get back on track. I ate out twice this week and missed both days of X stretch. However, I managed to also get two 30 minute sessions on the treadmill. I gained 0.2 lbs this week. Had I really focused on diet and not doing the dvd's out of order I probably would have lost some weight.
Here's how I look at it for myself. I have a lot of weight to lose and it is going to take some time. One round of P90x isn't going to solve my problems. I can't think of 90 days in a row any time of year that I would be able to completely devote to P90x. That being said, get back on track. Push Play and keep going. So you missed a few workouts. The question is do you want to miss a lot or just a few. I went' from no excercise to 6.5 hours a week with Yoga. So I'm not going to think less of myself if I manage only 3 hours one week. Not my goal and so far I have done them all (except X stretch), but getting in the right frame of mind is key.
